Lingfield plays host to a listed event at 14:50, in which the William Haggas-trained Sentaril is taken as being capable of getting back to winning ways. The three-year-old looked an exciting prospect when winning her first two starts, a maiden at Newbury and a Doncaster minor event, and she ran well to finish second in the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot. She has shaped better than the bare result on each of her last two outings, having been ridden too aggressively in the Sceptre Stakes at Doncaster and allowed to lose her place in a listed race at Ascot last time before finishing best of all, and confidence is high that she possesses more than enough ability to triumph here.

Saeed bin Suroor is represented by both Rumh and Surprise Moment in Lingfield's 15:20, and it is the latter that we are particularly interested in. Unbeaten in a trio of starts, the three-year-old, a half-sister to Ribblesdale Stakes winner Flying Cloud, has improved with each outing, taking a decent step forward when stepped up to a mile and a half last time, winning a competitive handicap at Newmarket. She is more than ready for this step up in class and she appeals as the type to progress further, so is taken to see off the likes of Roxy Flyer and Polygon.

With Nassau Storm being a non-runner in Kempton's 19:40 it could pay to take a chance on the attractively-priced Elna Bright, who is currently trading at 21.020/1. The Peter Crate-trained seven-year-old has tasted plenty of success down the years but has proved particularly effective on polytrack, his three best efforts coming about on that surface, and whilst he is yet to get his head in front this year it is the first time he has been on the sand since February and he has returned to his last winning mark of 90. He is well drawn in stall three and is one to note.
