Timeform's best bets on Thursday go at Ffos Las, Hamilton, and Lingfield...
It seems William Hogarth may have been revived since joining Brian Ellison and he can build on the promise shown last time at Beverley to take the 16:35 at Ffos Las. That Beverley outing was William Hogarth's first run for Ellison and he was nearest at the finish having received minimal assistance from his amateur rider. He would likely have won under different circumstances and, with Richard Hughes in the saddle today, can make the most of a very lowly mark in an event that may not take much winning.
Scottish Strand went into plenty of notebooks when winning at Ffos Las last time out and can score again in the 18:20 at Hamilton. He and the runner-up pulled well clear of the rest at Ffos Las and, with the second horse having since come out and won well, Scottish Strand should have more to give on just his third start. Today's step up in trip should also suit and the booking of Kieren Fallon, who guided him home at Ffos Las, is another positive. Today's opposition are no pushovers however, with recent Epsom winner Coincidently feared most.
In the 19:40 at Lingfield, Saturation Point could well leave her maiden form behind on her first start in handicap company. She hasn't been knocked about in three fairly uninspiring starts, but is likely to show more in this sphere for a yard who do well with similar types. The step up in trip could also help and Andrea Atzeni should get the best out of her. Choral Clan has been in good form of late and can land another place.
