Timeform focus on the racing at Bath on Sunday, providing you with three selections...
Candoluminescence is related to some useful sorts, notably Firestreak and Moidore, and, while she hasn't shown anything like the same level of ability, she should be capable of landing the 14:30 at Bath. Candoluminescence was by no means ideally placed when only third at Warwick last time, but she did keep on well in the closing stages, indicating that she may be worth a try at this sort of trip. Roger Charlton's filly has proven to be relatively consistent of late, making the frame in all four starts in handicap company, and it is hoped that this extra test of stamina may eke out a bit more improvement.
There are plenty in with claims in the following race (15:05) but Abundantly ran creditably behind a wide-margin winner last time, shaping better than the bare result in the process, and makes plenty of appeal. Having looked unsuited by the steady early pace at Salisbury last time, Abundantly ran well, despite challenging away from the eventual winner, and gave the impression that she is on a competitive mark at the moment. Conditions won't pose a problem for Hughie Morrison's filly and she should give a good account.
Generalyse isn't the easiest to win with but he put it all together when successful at Leicester last time and he has obvious claims of following up in the 16:10. A 9 lb rise for that comfortable success looks fully justified and Generalyse, who is clearly in excellent heart at present, is capable of striking again, for all he has a career-high mark to defy.
