Having made just the three starts under Rules, Master Flight is extremely lightly raced for a nine-year-old, but he hinted at possessing some ability when narrowly touched off on his handicap debut back in December and he can land the 14:55 contest. Significantly, Master Flight attracted plenty of support on his handicap bow, going off as a well-backed 6-4 favourite, and even though he couldn't quite overhaul Midnight Charmer he still posted an encouraging performance. His inexperience appeared to hold him back on that occasion and Jeremy Scott's unexposed chaser is clearly open to plenty of improvement.

We are hoping that the better ground and a break since his last run may enable Saint Roque to demonstrate that he is a well-handicapped horse in the 15:30. On his seasonal reappearance last term, Saint Roque appeared to be travelling powerfully in a strong handicap at Cheltenham when he was brought down. Paul Nicholls' charge made no impression on his only subsequent start at Kempton, finishing fifth, but the ground was extremely testing on that occasion and it is well worth forgiving him for that effort, mindful of how well he appeared to be going at Cheltenham. 

We take a bit of a chance with our final SmartPlay as we select the Jonjo O'Neill-trained Classical Twist to make a winning handicap debut in the concluding race (17:40). Three inauspicious efforts have ensured that Classical Twist starts life in handicaps on a lowly mark of 90, but it would prove rather surprising were this Irish Point winner incapable of showing significantly better form at some stage. This isn't a strong contest and Classical Twist can take advantage.
