Zarib - 15:05 Ascot

The way Zarib travelled for a long way in the Fred Winter suggests he's ahead of his mark and he can prove the point back in slightly calmer waters now. Unanimite wasn't far behind the selection at Cheltenham and looks the obvious main threat, though Sternrubin is going the right way and also makes some appeal now handicapping after a short break.

Chris Pea Green - 15:40 Ascot

Chris Pea Green found the frame in a brace of valuable handicap hurdles here last term, and he's made a good start to his chasing career, yet to be asked for his effort when falling four out in the Grand Annual earlier this month. He can get the better of Turn Over Sivola, who finished fifth in that event at the Cheltenham Festival, and Royal Regatta.

Windshear - 15:55 Doncaster

Windshear was a model of consistency in some strong events last term, notably when fourth in the St Leger, and he can make a winning return from these favourable terms. Cloudscape was slightly disappointing in the Winter Derby but can bounce back, whilst Adventure Seeker makes some each-way appeal on his seasonal bow.
