On Khee (14:10) may have fallen on two of his last four starts but he should enjoy a class edge against the majority of those lining up against him in the opening maiden hurdle at Uttoxeter this afternoon. The David Pipe-trained runner has form head and shoulders above all but one of his opponents (Western Approaches) and it would be no surprise to see him coast home for all that he can be quite keen in front. On Khee performed meritoriously at Plumpton in February and, after a small break since falling at Taunton, the five-year-old should looks a solid win bet.

Welease Bwian (14:50) has demonstrated an admirable level of consistency for a young horse and, if he reproduces anything like the form he's displayed in the majority of his handicap starts, he could prove good value in the first five-furlong handicap at Nottingham. Welease Bwian is Timeform top-rated for today's race and is expected to bounce back to the form he showed when second in similar races at Lingfield and Bath. With Welease Bwian pulling too hard in his last race, the drop back in trip is expected to benefit and he can be a force in a race which probably won't take too much winning.

Albany Rose (15:20) gave the impression that she was a performer on the up last year and, if she can find that little bit of improvement this term, there are more races to be won with the daughter of Noverre. Albany Rose clocked up three victories in quick succession at around this time last year and she looks primed to go well again after a good fifth in a competitive handicap at York on her return recently, her wide draw forcing her race away from the main pace. Trainer Rae Guest has had a fantastic year so far and with form shows no signs of stopping (two victories from his last ten runners), Albany Rose is today's best bet.
