The Paul Webber-trained Rysbrack showed a fair level of form on the Flat last summer and can put that experience to good use in the 14:40. A bumper winner on debut, Rysbrack didn't quite manage to register a win in five attempts on the Flat, his second-placed effort at Windsor, beaten a head, the closest he came, but he certainly displayed a bit of ability and could prove too good for his rivals in this jumpers' bumper. The fact he has shaped well in three hurdles efforts this season adds further confidence and we will take a chance that Rysbrack can get back to winning ways.

The second of our SmartPlays comes in the 15:50 as we side with Vibrato Valtat. Paul Nicholls' French import has excellent claims having won a bumper contest in France, shaped very well on his first start over here, finishing second at Exeter, and produced an encouraging display on his hurdles debut at Kempton, despite being hindered by a series of sloppy jumps. There are no obstacles in the way for Vibrato Valtat today and he should be capable of registering his first success in Britain.

Previously a solid handicapper on the Flat for Barry and Charlie Hills, One Lucky Lady (16:20) has developed into a fairly useful hurdler since making the switch to Nicky Henderson, winning a pair of races early last year. She has continued to perform with credit since, without managing to get her head back in front, and shaped better than the bare result last time, finding the race too much of a stamina test. One Lucky Lady looks sure to launch a bold bid and makes the most appeal in an interesting contest.
