Racing takes place under the Chelmsford City banner for the first time, and Timeform provide you with three bets on the card...
Chelmsford City 12:50 - Docs Legacy
Docs Legacy had the look of an exposed horse prior to his win at Wolverhampton last time, but he produced a career-best effort on that occasion, scoring in good style, and can confirm the view that he's suddenly found a bit of improvement. Docs Legacy has a 5 lb higher mark to deal with here, but the form of his Wolverhampton win looks strong, and the booking of a good-value 5-lb claimer is an obvious positive.
Chelmsford City 13:50 - Blue Aegean
Blue Aegean went the wrong way following a promising start to her career, but she has been given a break and could prove a class apart, returning from a break for an in-form yard. Blue Aegean looked one to follow when beating subsequent Group 3 winner Osaila at Nottingham but she failed to build on that performance, admittedly in the face of some stiff tasks. Connections have had plenty of time to get Blue Aegean back on the right track, though, and this is the easiest task she's faced, so she could prove much too good.
Chelmsford City 15:20 - Rizal Park
Andrew Balding's string remain in fine fettle, and his representative Rizal Park looks to have sound claims of notching the hat-trick. Rizal Park has improved on the all-weather of late, following up a win at Lingfield with an even better performance at Kempton, and there could still be a bit more to come as he's clearly in the groove at present. He has a racing style ideally suited to the all-weather and, still relatively unexposed on artificial surfaces, he can win again.
