Taaresh won readily for the second time at Worcester last week, and has to be feared in his bid to follow up despite a 7-lb penalty. However, the vote goes to Val d'Arc, who lost no caste in defeat behind a potentially smart JP McManus recruit at Newton Abbot last month, and remains the type to do better now handicapping in this sphere.

Jayo Time - 16:20 Wincanton

Recent Huntingdon scorer Oscars Way should go well, while Emma Lavelle's Vendredi Trois should get closer to him on the revised terms, particularly if cutting out the mistakes, but Jayo Time could easily be another to improve for the switch to Dr Richard Newland and gets the vote to make a winning start to his career in this country.
