Timeform bring you their three best bets from Leicester and Carlisle on Monday...
We kick off proceedings with a six-furlong seller from Leicester (14:45) and the vote goes to Sir Pedro, who has a bit of a mixed record but will be hard to beat in this company if running anywhere near his best. He ran well when second to Hamoody at Brighton on his penultimate start and if he can put his disappointing Newmarket display behind him he could run out an impressive winner. Bond Club rates as the obvious danger back to a suitable trip but if the selection puts his best foot forward he will be tough to pass.
We remain at Leicester for the next contest under consideration, a seven-furlong fillies' conditions stakes (15:55) which has the makings of an informative contest. Danehill Revival is a threat if putting her Ascot experience to good use and Rockfel Stakes third Desert Blossom also merits resepct on her seasonal reappearance, but preference goes to Crowley's Law. She ran into a good thing on her seasonal reappearance at Thirsk before running out an impressive winner at Haydock last time; given that Tom Dascombe's string are in excellent form, if she turns up in the same mood as last time she'll be very tough to beat and looks one to keep on side for a while yet.
Our final bet of the day comes in another fillies' contest, this time a valuable handicap over nine furlongs from Carlisle (19:45). My Spirit looked a horse with a very bright future when making a winning debut at Nottingham last time, and what was particularly impressive was how easily she overcame a very poor position to get her head in front. Given the trouble she found mid-race it would be fair to assume she was value for a good deal more than the eventual winning margin of a length, and although this is a competitive race for the grade she's expected to take it in her stride and move on to bigger and better things.
