Itsnowcato (15:30) hasn't won in five starts to date, though he ran well again at Hamilton on Saturday and could open his account now up against a field made up chiefly of his elders. Royal Straight and Irish raider Action Master are both dangers, while Thorntoun Care could leave his previous form behind now entering handicaps.

Classy Anne (16:30) saw her winning run come to an end at Musselburgh a month ago, though it was in a better race than this and off the same mark she can get back on track here. Chosen One had several of these behind when winning a C&D event last Sunday and may confirm placings with Black Douglas and Saxonette (second and third on that occasion) even with a 6 lb penalty.

The following race (17:00) is over the intermediate trip of seven furlongs. Order of Service's last two wins have both been at this trip and he showed that he's at the top of his game at present when going close over a mile here last weekend. Now dropping back, he gets the vote in an ordinary heat. Recent C&D scorer Silver Rime and Circuitous are feared most.
