Wolverhampton 15:00 - Tryster

Tryster didn't look the easiest of rides when winning the opening race at Chelmsford City's inaugural meeting, but he clearly has plenty of ability, probably more so than his handicap mark implies, and he remains open to a spot of improvement having raced just four times. It was encouraging how easily Tryster made up his ground at Chelmsford, showing enough speed to suggest this slightly sharper test won't be a problem, and he holds excellent claims of following up that narrow success.

Plumpton 15:20 - Great Choice

Great Choice has yet to win under Rules, but he has twice run well in hot handicaps this season, following up a good second at Cheltenham with a third-placed finish at Wincanton last time where he shaped better than the bare result under stamina-sapping conditions. Great Choice possibly found 22 furlongs on heavy ground too much of a test, but dropping back a furlong and facing a sounder surface can bring out the best in him, and he ought to prove too good for today's rivals. 

Wolverhampton 15:30 - Dana's Present

Dana's Present looks to be in top form at the moment and has a good chance of completing the hat-trick. Dana's Present has twice won over C&D recently, so is clearly suited by conditions, and his latest success was delivered in impressive fashion, showing a good cruising speed and turn of foot to assert close home. Everything appears to be in his favour here and another bold bid is expected.
