Wolverhampton 15:30 - Uncle Bernie

Uncle Bernie was an impressive wide-margin winner here last week and that effort marks him down as the horse to beat. Uncle Bernie is clearly well suited to the new Tapeta surface at Wolverhampton having won three of his four starts, the defeat excusable on account of the race not providing an adequate test of stamina, and his career-best effort last Monday proves that he is in great heart at present. He can launch a bold bid under optimum conditions.

Kempton 16:50 - Dreaming Again

Dreaming Again has only achieved a modest level on form, but he seems to be operating at the top of his game at the moment and looks to have strong claims here. Dreaming Again was successful over C&D on his penultimate start, getting the strong pace required as he stayed on well to get up in the final strides, and he backed up that performance with an even better effort in defeat, again over C&D. In truth, Dreaming Again was a shade unfortunate not to win given the narrow margins involved as he had to wait for a gap at a crucial stage, and he can make amends granted more favourable circumstances. 

Kempton 17:20 - Holiday Magic

Charlie Appleby has his string in good nick at present, and his improving three-year-old Holiday Magic can notch up the four-timer. Holiday Magic has progressed well since entering handicap company, first supplementing his maiden success in good style by winning here over a mile, and then producing an even better performance to land the spoils over today's C&D. We've yet to see everything that Holiday Magic has to offer and he can take another step forward here.
