Timeform UK SmartPlays: Friday July 19

Autumn Sunrise looks the one to beat in the six-furlong fillies' maiden at Newbury (14:20). She shaped with promise on her debut, when second of 15 to stablemate Gold Top, and the drop back in trip can see her go one better here. The Hannon team's strong record with juveniles is another positive and she can provide us with an early winner.

The second of today's SmartPlays is in the six-furlong handicap at Haydock (15:15) where Secondo gets the nod. He looked a good sprinting prospect when scoring on reappearance at Salisbury and can get back to winning ways after he was not seen to best effect last time at Leicester. Has been gelded since and looks open to improvement.

Finally we head to Newmarket where Silver Dixiecan take the competitive opening contest (17:45). Left with too much to do when fifth at Windsor last time out she can make amends here if ridden more prominently. Not Rigg and Jazz Master head the dangers.
