Geraldine - 13:00 Lingfield

Geraldine wasn't seen to best effect on her first try at this trip at Wolverhampton last time (not clear run a furlong out and gave impression she should have finished a bit closer under a hands and heels ride) and is well worth another chance to notch a third success this winter under Martin Harley now down in grade slightly. Imperial City is bred to be better on the all-weather than she showed last time at Kempton and could prove the biggest threat.

Stamp Your Feet - 14:25 Musselburgh

Stamp Your Feet belied market weakness to get off the mark over hurdles at Fontwell last time and the fact that he wasn't the most fluid at his obstacles probably masked his superiority. A 3 lb rise in the weights seems very fair, and given that he is a Flat-bred horse who had the speed to win a bumper over a mile and three quarters at Fontwell last season, the switch to this sharp track may well be in his favour. Caius Marcius is unexposed and could be the biggest danger.

Shaama Grise - 14:45 Chepstow

Shaama Grise matched the pick of her French form on her first start for David Pipe when second here earlier in the month, with a lack of race fitness seemingly just getting the better of her as she was edged out of things in the final 100 yards of the race. She is entitled to come on for that outing and should go well from an unchanged mark here. At First Light has fallen to a competitive mark (2 lb below the one she defied last season) and could chase the selection home.
