Valid Point looked better than ever when opening his account for his current yard at Leicester, and there could still be more to come, bearing in mind that was just his second start for the Twiston-Davies yard. Valid Point stuck to his task in really pleasing fashion at Leicester, finding plenty to get up close home, and he will be well suited by this slight step up in trip. He sets the standard on form, is capable of better yet and is the one to beat. 

Doncaster 16:20 - Altesse de Guye    

Altesse de Guye has shown promise over hurdles and goes handicapping from a fair-looking mark, so she gets the vote. Altesse de Guye faced a stiff task last time, but she gave a good account behind two useful prospects, and the fitting of a first-time hood might draw some improvement, so she is worth chancing.

Newbury 16:40 - Manballandall
 
Manballandall caught the eye in no uncertain terms at Plumpton and, having been dropped a further 2 lb for that effort, he is well worth siding with. The lightly-raced Manballandall was given an ill-judged ride at Plumpton last time, left with too much to do as the principals kicked for home, but he can strike from this kind of handicap mark and looks a spot of value.
