Uttoxeter 13:10 - One For The Boss

We kick off proceedings with a handicap chase over two-and-a-half miles and it may well pay to keep One For The Boss onside. He won a brace of Leicester events last month with a fair bit in hand, enough to suggest that he can defy a 15 lb higher mark to land the hat-trick if he remains in the same form. The likes of Midnight Charmer and Ray Diamond represent the biggest threat but the selection is in too rich a vein of form to oppose and can land us the spoils. 

Ascot 15:05 - Dream Deal

We head to Ascot for the next contest under consideration, a handicap hurdle over 22 furlongs which looks a pretty useful and competitive affair. The one for our money is Dream Deal, who was a comfortable winner on his debut in this sphere at Exeter and should be capable of defying a 9 lb rise to notch up another success. However, there are plenty of dangers with Spartan Angel and Batavir just two who merit respect. 

Wolverhampton 19:20 - Unbridled Joy

Our final bet of the day comes in the concluding race at Wolverhampton, a handicap over an extended nine furlongs in which Unbridled Joy can't be ignored. It looks likely to develop into a tactical battle and if that is the case the selection looks better equipped than most to capitalise. She ran a career best when trying this trip over C&D two weeks ago and if she can build on that then she may well surprise a few.
