Wetherby 13:50 - Back To Bracka

We kick off proceedings with a two-mile handicap chase from Wetherby and it might be worth taking on favourite Tresor de Bontee. Although he looked as good as ever when making a winning return at Lingfield a fortnight ago he went backwards after scoring in his reappearance last term. Back To Bracka is the one who could capitalise given he that he received a very considerate introduction to chasing at Carlisle and that he has improved his form since joining the care of Lucinda Russell. 

Wetherby 15:30 - Carinena

We remain in West Yorkshire for the next contest under consideration, the concluding mares' bumper over an extended two miles. Midnight Silver sets the standard but it is far from an insurmountable one and newcomer Carinena is taken to continue the outstanding form of Nicky Richards' bumper horses so far this month (four wins from five runners). She has appeal on paper having cost a fair bit and is also well-related, to the very smart chaser Eduard amongst others. 

Kempton 18:45 - Kalaatah

Our final bet of the day comes from Kempton in the listed Wild Flower Stakes over a mile-and-a-half, in which the unbeaten Kalaatah is taken to continue her rapid progress through the ranks. She looked a smart prospect when winning a six-runner handicap at Wolverhampton three weeks ago having to overcome a significant amount of traffic in the process. She should be more than capable of taking this step up in class in her stride and making it three wins from as many runs in the UK.
