Timeform suggest a trio of bets for Sunday's racing...
Celtus was a fairly useful juvenile hurdler in France but is yet to match that form over hurdles or fences since arriving in Britain and could be worth taking on with the Richard Lee-trained Mountainous. The seven-year-old landed a brace of handicap hurdles at this track when in the care of Nigel Twiston-Davies, having left Lee after his first start, last winter and was not disgraced in decent races on his last two outings. Mountainous' current price of 7.413/2 makes much more appeal than the 3.613/5 available about Celtus, and he is the one to side with in the 14:30.
It is easy to have doubts about the majority of the field in the 14:45 at Market Rasen, but Prophet de Guye gave the impression that he was on the way back at Wetherby last month and could take some stopping off what is a tempting mark. The nine-year-old showed marked improvement when winning a couple of races at this time last year, including at this venue, and whilst he hasn't yet achieved the same level of form this season the suspicion is that he has just been bubbling under, shaping better than the result on each occasion, and he is taken to land the spoils.
We head back to Ffos Las for our final selection, which takes place in the 15:40. Qualviro had a pretty patchy record when trained in Ireland by Jim Culltoy but the signs were good on his first start for Tim Vaughan at Exeter last month, taking a clear step back in the right direction as he finished second to Bennys Mist, beaten just half a length. A repeat of that would make him hard to beat in this field and there is every chance that he could build upon it.
