Kempton 13:40 - Special Tiara

We kick off proceedings with the Grade 2 Desert Orchid Chase over two miles and it might pay to side with Special Tiara. The likes of Hinterland, Balder Success and Claret Cloak all merit respect but it's possible the selection will get his own way up front. If that is the case,  those who race prominently and jump soundly can be hard to peg back at this venue and as this race is likely to have been his target for a while, he is capable of getting us off to a winning start. 

Chepstow 13:55 - Karezak

We head to Chepstow for the next contest under consideration,  the Grade 1 Finale Hurdle over two miles and it looks a cracking renewal.Karezak just edged out Golden Doyen on their respective hurdling debuts back in October and should be able to confirm his superiority over that rival. Alan King's charge has looked a tough performer in his racecourse appearances thus far and with conditions likely to be testing, he is taken to battle it out to win.

Wetherby 14:40 - French Opera

Our final bet of the day comes from Wetherby, where it might be worth chancing French Opera to return to winning ways. He looked a little rusty when extending his losing sequence at Huntingdon earlier in the month but this is the easiest assignment he has faced for a considerable period and as a result he could capitalise without having to be at his very best. Back To Bracka heads the dangers but if the selection is in the right frame of mind he could easily prove a cut above today's rivals.
