Uttoxeter 12:50 - Grand Vision

We kick things off with a staying novices' chase over three miles and Grand Vision can't be ignored. He looked set to give smart performer Virak something to think about until tipping up four out on his Haydock chase debut. With his sights lowered considerably for this contest, providing it hasn't dented his confidence he looks more than capable of recording his first win over fences, although Cloudy Copper is an interesting contender on his return, as is C&D winner Rattlin.

Uttoxeter 14:50 - Positive Vibes

It's a novices' handicap under over an extended two-and-a-half miles under consideration next and Positive Vibes is the one for our money. He has been in good form since switching his attention to hurdling, winning at Wincanton last month before a decent second at Exeter on Friday. Providing he is in the same frame of mind, with the services of McCoy to aid him today he is taken to return to the winners' enclosure. That said, L Frank Baum is another who arrives in decent form and merits respect. 

Fontwell 15:40 - Jigsaw Financial

We head to Fontwell for our final bet of the day, which comes over two-and-a-half miles in a handicap hurdle which could well go the way of Jigsaw Financial. He has done all his winning in this sphere over brush hurdles and has plenty of form over these sort of obstacles. Although he shoulders a penalty for last week's victory at Southwell, the manner of his victory then suggested the extra weight wouldn't be enough to stop him going in again.
