Plumpton 14:00 - Murryana

We kick off proceedings with a novices' hurdle over 21 furlongs from Plumpton and Murryana looks the best bet at the prices. He showed a fair level of form in bumpers and offered something to work on when finishing second at Worcester on his hurdling debut. Trainer Colin Tizzard was amongst the winners over the weekend and given the selection showed significant signs of promise last time, it's hoped he can add to the tally. More Buck's merits respect given his pedigree and connections, but it's hoped Murryana can put his experience to good use and record a first win over timber. 

Leicester 14:20 - Mystery Drama

A two-mile handicap hurdle from Leicester contains our next bet of the day in the shape of Mystery Drama, who won the juvenile hurdle on this card last year and looks capable of significant improvement now sent handicapping. Although she unseated her rider early on at Sandown last time, she should be none the worse for those exertions and prior to that showed a return to form when second at Stratford in October. It's hoped she can regain that progressive thread at the expense of today's rivals.
 
Plumpton 15:00 - Ya Hafed

We return to Plumpton for the final bet of the day, which comes in a handicap hurdle over 18 furlongs and Ya Hafed is the one for our money. Sheena West's charge has been dropped 5 lb since finishing down the field here last month but shouldn't be inconvenienced by this drop back in trip and now looks weighted to win. It must be noted that he's struggled since finishing second in a handicap chase at Huntingdon last December, but with first-time cheekpieces fitted and the trip in his favour, he is more than capable of winning this on the pick of his form and looks good value to do so.
