The unexposed, progressive three-year-olds should dominate here, with the James Fanshawe-trained Up In Lights given the nod.
It's the opening day of Newmarket's three-day Cambridgeshire meeting on Thursday and Timeform have found three tips for you.
Newmarket 15:10 - Queen's Pearl
Queen's Pearl failed to make an impression in a listed race at Pontefract last month, but she had previously been most progressive and looks to hold leading claims back in handicap company. Queen's Pearl wasn't seen to best effect at Pontefract, held up in a race where it paid to be on the pace, but she can bounce back here, enough forecast pace in the race to suggest she won't be as disadvantaged this time.
Newmarket 16:15 - Flying Officer
Flying Officer hasn't stood a great deal of racing over the years but he's evidently got plenty of ability and can go one better than when finishing runner-up to Pallasator in this race last year. Flying Officer arrives on the back of a smooth win at Salisbury and, whilst he was entitled to win well on that occasion, it was a taking return to action and he should prove a cut above the opposition here.
Newmarket 17:20 - Up In Lights
The unexposed, progressive three-year-olds should dominate here, with the James Fanshawe-trained Up In Lights given the nod. Up In Lights has won two of her three starts to date and was particularly impressive at Yarmouth last time, quickening up well from the rear to win with a good deal in hand. Up In Lights has plenty more to offer and looks sure to give a good account.
