Timeform bring you bets from Carlisle and Chelmsford on Thursday...
Carlisle 15:15 - Germany Calling
Germany Calling has already bettered his useful hurdling form in two starts over the larger obstacles, winning on his chasing bow at Uttoxeter and then putting up an even better effort in defeat back at the same course, and he's taken to make a successful handicap bow in this discipline. Germany Calling remains open to improvement as a chaser, won't be inconvenienced by a drop in trip and represents a yard in good form, so his claims are obvious.
Chelmsford 17:45 - Force
A tendency to race keenly hampered Force on his first few outings, but he proved more tractable in a first-time hood at Haydock last time, quickening well to win readily under a hands-and-heels ride, and he looks fairly handicapped as he steps into nursery company. Force was entered in the Group 1 Middle Park at one stage, so connections clearly feel that he possesses plenty of ability, and he can continue on an upward curve for a while.
Chelmsford 20:15 - Rainbow Pride
Rainbow Pride hasn't really convinced with his finishing effort the last twice, though he has shown enough to suggest that he's on a fair mark, and he looks worth another chance. Sir Mark Prescott's charge takes a marked step up in distance, tackling two miles for the first time, and it is hoped that he can stamp his authority over a collection of rivals who aren't open to similar amounts of improvement.
