Eton Rambler looked unlucky when finishing third at Chepstow last time, getting no luck in running, and he can gain compensation here. Eton Rambler impressed with how well he stayed on once in the clear, so a 1 lb higher mark shouldn't pose a problem granted better luck.

Goodwood 15:30 - Slip Sliding Away

This is competitive stuff, but four-time course winner Slip Sliding Away clearly goes well at this track and the booking of promising 7-lb claimer Tom Marquand is a positive. Slip Sliding Away has yet to win over five furlongs, but he has run up to his best over the minimum distance, and a bold bid is on the cards.

Goodwood 17:40 - Easy Tiger

A winner on both starts as a juvenile, Easy Tiger made an encouraging return to action when finishing fifth in a one-mile handicap at Ascot last month, travelling well for much of the way but leaving the impression his stamina was just stretched. The return to seven furlongs looks ideal and Willie Muir's charge can show himself to be a well-handicapped horse.
