Goodwood 15:05 - Peterhof

Peterhof was beaten when a well-backed favourite at Newmarket in May on his most recent outing, but the form of that race has worked out well and he remains with plenty of potential. Sir Michael Stoute's charge clocked an impressive sectional time when winning on debut last year and, whilst he's not quite matched expectations yet, it's still early days in his career.

Goodwood 16:15 - Ivawood

Group 2-winning juvenile Ivawood was narrowly beaten in last season's Middle Park Stakes and ran with credit to finish placed in both the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket and the Irish 2,000 Guineas at the Curragh earlier this term. Those pieces of form are the best on offer and, whilst Ivawood has been below his best on his two most recent outings, he can take advantage of this drop in class.

Goodwood 16:45 - Bateel

This is a good contest featuring a number of unexposed fillies, but it is the David Simcock-trained Bateel who holds the most convincing claims. Bateel has just the one start to her name, so is giving something away in terms of experience, but she created a really taking impression when winning on debut, finding plenty to lead late on, and looks to have been let in lightly on her handicap bow.
