Hamilton 13:50 - Dark Defender

Dark Defender hasn't enjoyed the rub of the green since making a successful nursery debut at York in July, but he should be given another chance having met trouble in running on two of his three most recent starts, whilst he seemingly failed to stay seven furlongs last time. Dropping down to the minimum distance ought to be in the favour of the speedy Dark Defender and he can get back on the right track.

Hamilton 15:50 - Ainslie

Ainslie was turned over at odds on at Brighton last time, but conditions were extremely testing and he is capable of bouncing back here. A comfortable winner at Leicester in July, Ainslie ran well on his next start at Wolverhampton, only narrowly failing to reel back a horse who received a canny ride from the front, and he still looks favourably treated.

Hamilton 16:20 - Oriental Tiger

Oriental Tiger showed improved form when finishing placed in a couple of mile-and-a-half handicaps on his last two starts and, still relatively unexposed, particularly at this sort of trip, he may be capable of better yet. Representing an in-form yard and facing horses who don't possess the same scope for improvement, this looks a good opportunity for Oriental Tiger.
