A 6 lb rise for that clear-cut victory is hardly draconian and, with this drop in trip unlikely to pose a problem, she will prove a tough nut to crack. The untrustworthy but talented Gabrial The Duke and Layline are taken to fill the places.

Minister of Fun - 15:35 Southwell

The unexposed Minister of Fun could be worth chancing in this competitive handicap. The C&D maiden he landed in December was essentially a weak affair, but his opening mark looks fair and, with just two runs under his belt, there should be more to come. Pea Shooter will be a big threat if acting on this surface, while Oriental Relation and the hat-trick seeking Barbs Princess also merit respect.

Ifittakesforever - 16:25 Kempton

John Butler's Ifittakesforever looked an improved performer in the blinkers last time and a 6 lb rise doesn't look enough to stop him with a visor tried now. The Dapper Tapper can continue his run of good form but may have to settle for second yet again, while Rialto Magic won't be too far away if reproducing the form she showed in maiden company last time.
