Sandown 15:50 - Grand Jesture

The progressive Grand Jesture did best of those ridden prominently when an excellent second to the well-handicapped The Druids Nephew at the Cheltenham Festival last month and makes the most appeal in a typically-competitive renewal of this prestigious chase. Plenty of these have questions to answer, but Grand Jesture is a horse on the up and should give a good account.

Sandown 16:25 - Wilberdragon

Wilberdragon looked a useful prospect when winning a bumper at Ascot in November and he's progressed well over hurdles, too, fending off a decent type in novice company at Market Rasen last time. There should be more to come up in trip, whilst he looks to have been let in lightly on his handicap debut, so he gets the vote.

Sandown 17:00 - Generous Ransom

Generous Ransom showed fairly useful form over hurdles last term but he's made up into an even better chaser, scoring twice so far this season, including over C&D, and posted a career-best last time when finishing third at Cheltenham. He looks sure to put up another bold bid and has to go close.
