Goodwood 14:00 - Direct Times

The lightly-raced sprinter Direct Times has created a fantastic impression in winning three of his five starts to date and he looks as if he has plenty more to offer, the powerful way in which he travels through his races marking him down as a horse capable of climbing the ranks. A fast-run, big-field handicap ought to play to the strengths of this strong-travelling type and he can prove a class above his largely-exposed rivals.

Goodwood 14:35 - Dartmouth

Dartmouth has progressed with each run throughout his career so far and, with his latest effort just about the best form on offer, any further improvement will make him very difficult to beat. Dartmouth was comfortably on top by the line at Ascot last time, beating some useful rivals in good style, and, with plenty of pace on the cards, he ought to be seen staying on to good effect.

Goodwood 15:10 - Legatissimo

1000 Guineas winner Legatissimo could arguably have won three Group 1s this season with better luck and she appeals as being the best filly in the Nassau Stakes. Legatissimo looked sure to win the Oaks a furlong out but was reeled in close home by a stouter stayer, and she then did well to get to within a short-head of Diamondsandrubies in the Pretty Polly Stakes having conceded first run to that rival. Legatissimo has optimum conditions on Saturday and can bounce back to winning ways.
