The jumps have taken over and the pickings look most ripe at Sandown and Wincanton on Saturday.
Roudoudou Ville - 14:30 Sandown
Roudoudou Ville put up a smart performance when scoring here on his reappearance three years ago. Lightly raced since, he was beaten only a neck at Perth when last seen in the spring and can resume winning ways. Barrakilla is unexposed as a chaser and should go well if fit enough after a long absence, while we likely haven't seen the best of Foundation Man yet.
Standing Ovation - 14:40 Wincanton
The first three home from 12 months ago renew rivalry, with Standing Ovation fancied to follow-up last year's success on the back of a more than satisfactory recent reappearance at Cheltenham. Benvolio looks fairly treated back in handcap company, but he has a bit to prove and the thriving The Young Master may provide the stiffest opposition to the selection. According To Trev is another to consider.
Forgotten Voice - 15:15 Wincanton
Irving failed to meet expectations in the Supreme, but clearly remains open to further progress in his second season, so he has to command respect, but he meets a race-fit rival in Forgotten Voice, who is the one to beat at the weights (does need a good pace to aim at over two miles). The classy Rock On Ruby adds further lustre to the contest.
