Urban Castle - 15:40 Wolverhampton

An interesting contest. Urban Castle was very impressive when a wide-margin winner here last month and James Tate's filly looks capable of defying a 9 lb rise, though fellow-improver John Reel is likely to give her something to think about. Gabrial's Star will be suited by the return to this trip and may prove best of the remainder.

Chookie Royale - 17:10 Wolverhampton

Chookie Royale returned with a good effort in a Lingfield handicap last month and can land this race for the second year running. Solar Deity was a little disappointing in a similar event last time but still looks the main threat, ahead of Graphic, who has a Group 3 penalty to shoulder.

First Rebellion - 17:40 Wolverhampton

First Rebellion can probably be forgiven his latest run (caught very wide from a poor draw) and a return to the form he showed when second at Kempton prior to that might be enough to see him get his head in front. Copper Cavalier is interesting down at 5f but hasn't been done any favours by the draw, while last month's C&D winner Shaft of Light could easily have more to offer for his new stable.
