Ripon 14:35 - Bahamian Desert

Bahamian Desert has been in fantastic form of late, finishing first or second on his last seven outings, and he comes here on the back of a career-best effort at Musselburgh last week when he won by half a length. True, Bahamian Desert was well positioned and didn't appear to have a great deal in hand, but he hails from a yard whose runners often continue to progress when on a roll, and it wouldn't be a surprise were he to improve further still.

Ripon 15:45 - Still On Top

Still On Top looked above average when overcoming signs of inexperience to win at Pontefract on debut, and he improved markedly on that form when running on strongly to finish third in a valuable sales race at York recently. Still On Top had masses to find on the figures against useful, experienced rivals at York, but he excelled himself, despite still looking rough around the edges. He should come on for that experience and looks to hold excellent claims here.

Epsom 16:15 - Dakota City

Dakota City has been a different proposition on the all-weather since a visor has been applied, and he should be given a chance to translate that polytrack form to turf. Dakota City was visually impressive at Lingfield on his penultimate start when winning in ready fashion, and he was just as good last time, despite meeting defeat, simply paying the price for a big, sweeping move down the hill. He evidently possesses plenty of ability and, seemingly going the right way, Dakota City may still be a step ahead of the handicapper.
