The Sir Mark Prescott-trained Aleator got right back on track with the cheekpieces reapplied when third over 1m at Lingfield recently, and with the step back up in trip promising to suit this three-year-old, he gets the nod to prove too good for his older rivals. Man of Harlech may be the one for the forecast.

Kempton 17:15 - Pike Corner Cross

Pike Corner Cross caught the eye on his handicap debut at Windsor in September, keeping on when hampered approaching the final furlong, and can make a successful switch the all-weather in this 1¼m handicap. Money for Spring Dixie, making her debut for the John Ryan yard and ridden by Adam Kirby, would look significant.

Kempton 18:45 - Spanish Squeeze

The horse open to most improvement in this listed race is lightly-raced three-year-old Spanish Squeeze. He took a step forward when just touched off in a 1¼m Chelmsford handicap three weeks ago on his first start for seven months and promises to be suited by this step up to 1½m. Fire Fighting has met trouble on his last two outings and is the main danger.
