Walden Prince has been a revelation for David Bridgwater, taking another step forward when easily completing a hat-trick at Uttoxeter in July. He has more on his plate up another 14 lb, but he may well be up to the task. My Brother Sylvest will be more at home back at this trip and heads the list of potential dangers, along with Ulis de Vassy and Miss Tenacious.

Goodwood Zodiac - 15:20 Brighton

Goodwood Zodiac didn't fire at Glorious Goodwood but had been a promising second prior to that and is worth another chance. Prince of Arran was only just denied at Epsom last time and is an obvious threat, while Charlie Appleby's Frock Coat is likely to improve with his recent Leicester debut behind him.

Perspicace - 16:00 Worcester

The way Perspicace travels suggests he could be suited by this return to a bare two miles and he's taken to come good in first-time blinkers. Irish-raider Baby Jake is an obvious threat on the back of a good run in a big field at Galway, while Retro Valley would also be respected if turning out (due to run at Newton Abbot on Saturday).
