Blaklion - 12:00 Cheltenham

This is a pretty competitive novice, though it's all promise where the likes of Fletchers Flyer and Minella Rocco are concerned while Blaklion, a Grade 2 novice hurdle winner at this meeting in 2014, was in the process of achieving something pretty concrete when he fell three out in the race won by Vicente at the Open meeting here last month. He's a promising chaser for the season and can prove it now.

Some Buckle - 13:10 Cheltenham

Some Buckle is the latest Tom George to Paul Nicholls switcher to see the track and, kept to hurdles from the same mark from which he finished sixth for George in March's Imperial Cup, he can make a winning debut for his new yard. This race is as competitive as you'd expect, with A Hare Breath, who landed a gamble at the Open meeting, and Solstice Star heading the dangers.

Drumlee Sunset - 15:25 Cheltenham

Drumlee Sunset's contribution last time was reduced to that of nuisance as he caused problems for the others after unseating at the start and running loose. Before that, he'd been an impressive winner of a bumper and finished second to Mister Miyagi here in October, so presuming there are no accidents like last time he should go close. Baden, North Hill Harvey and Dexcite are also promising.
