Saphir du Rheu - 14:00 Kempton

Paul Nicholls might dominate here. Virak should make a bold bid to make it four out of four for the campaign, but preference is for Saphir du Rheu, who has the potential to go to the very top over the larger obstacles and put an early unseat on his chase debut firmly behind him with an impressive display at Exeter a week later. Sausalito Sunrise may prove best of the remainder. 

Al Ferof - 15:10 Kempton

Last year's winner Silviniaco Conti must give it another good shot on the back of his Betfair Chase victory, but, at the odds, it might just be worth opposing him with stablemate Al Ferof, who was only third in this last year but looked a different horse when readily conceding weight to some smart opposition on his reappearance. Menorah is in the form of his life and also makes the shortlist.
