Timeform take you through the card at York on Wednesday...

13:45 - JAWAAL (7) put it all together for a fluent success when stepped back in grade at Doncaster on his return in June, and he followed that up with a most impressive victory at Ascot last month, puyting to bed a tremendously competitive handicap in good style. He is up 8 lb for that win but is clearly thriving at present and still holds leading claims.

14:15 - A well-bred sort - by Dubawi out of a dam closely related to Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner Bago - CLOUDBRIDGE (2) was easy enough to back on debut but made a promising start to his career, seeing the race out strongly and looking a good prospect by the end. There is plenty more to come from him and another success looks to be in the offing.

14:45 - MOGUL (6) disappointed on his first two outings of the campaign, finishing fourth in the King Edward VII Stakes and sixth in the Derby, but he finally looked the horses that had headed the ante-post Derby market when landing the odds in the Gordon Stakes at Goodwood last time, taking a while to knuckle down but still strong when it mattered. He has Subjectivist and Highland Chief behind him on that occasion and there is no reason to think he cannot confirm those placings here.

15:15 - GHAIYYATH (2) has returned an even better model as a five-year-old, winning at Meydan in February before two trailblazing runs saw him land the Coronation Cup at Newmarket and the Eclipse at Sandown, both in dominant fashion. He looks the complete package as a five-year-old and will take plenty of beating if arriving here on his game.

15:45 - MONSIEUR LAMBRAYS (12) has really clicked in a visor recently, proving better than ever to resume winning ways at Salisbury last month, powering home, before following up in more straightforward fashion over this course and distance last time. He is improving all the time recently and an 8 lb rise might not be enough to prevent him landing the hat-trick.

16:20 - DANCIN INTHE STREET (6) is an improving filly who can consider herself unfortunate not to have a better strike rate than she does, not getting the rub of the green in good sprint handicaps at Haydock, Royal Ascot and Newmarket this season. She looked out of her depth when stepped up to Group 3 level at this venue last time but should remain competitively treated now returned to handicap company, and this could be a good opportunity for her to belatedly regain the winning thread.

16:50 - CHURCHILL BAY (4) showed the benefit of his debut run when second in an Ascot maiden last month, much more clued up on that occasion and only narrowly beaten by a well-bred newcomer. That is starting to look like strong form as well, with a subsequent winner already emerging, and with more to come from Clive Cox's charge, he makes plenty of appeal on his nursery debut.
