Timeform take you through the card at Wolverhampton on Wednesday...

16:05 - KING FRANKEL (3) makes plenty of appeal on paper ahead of his debut, by Frankel, a brother to the very smart Eminent, and out of a dam who was a winner as a juvenile. Newcomers from the Mark Johnston yard tend to take a run or two to get going but King Frankel is so well bred it would be a disappointment were he not to make a big splash on debut, particularly considering his 280,000 guineas price-tag.

16:35 - BOOT SCOOTIN BABY (3) is a lightly-raced maiden who, though she ran poorly when tenth at Chepstow last time, had shown glimpses of promise in her previous outings and has to be taken seriously ahead of her tapeta debut. HOLBACHE (11) showed more experience when fifth over this course and distance last time and could also be in the mix in a race devoid of any particularly solid form.

17:05 - WADE'S MAGIC (10) is still a maiden after nine runs but looked revived all of a sudden when narrowly beaten at Beverley recently. He has fallen a long way in the weights and a repeat of his latest effort should see him tough to peg back from this sort of mark, particularly with Silvestre De Sousa taking over in the saddle.

17:35 - BENNY AND THE JETS (2) looked back in form when fourth at Goodwood last month, in fact he was unlucky not to finish closer than he did, denied a clear run under two furlongs out and again meeting trouble after edging out right. He is of particular interest now returned to the all-weather (two of his three wins have come on artificial surfaces) and can take advantage of this drop in grade.

18:10 - KODIAC PRIDE (11) returned to form back down in trip when landing the odds over seven furlongs at Lingfield at the start of the month, taking advantage of a drop in the weights during his absence, and he passed the post first again under a penalty at Salisbury last time, but was ultimately disqualified after his rider weighed in light (saddle cloth came off inside the final furlong). He is clearly thriving at present and can gain compensation now back on the all-weather.

18:40 - QUAINT (8) was unlucky not to finish closer than she did when third at Lingfield last time, not seen to best effect with a bump at the start putting her on the back foot, doing her best work at the finish but not ideally placed to challenge a couple that had the run of things. She looks dangerous from the same mark and can reverse the form with the re-opposing Sir Rodneyredblood and Bartat.

19:10 - ILARAAB (1) proved a different proposition with his debut run under his belt when lading the odds at Thirsk last time, coming out on top and drawing right away from the rest of the field with another promising type. His pedigree and manner of success suggest he will be at least as good over this longer trip, and with improvement anticipated, he is taken to go in again under a penalty.

19:40 - TASAAMUH (11) made plenty of appeal on paper ahead of her debut at Kempton in June and she duly shaped with plenty of promise, just held back by inexperience and a less than ideal position as she found just two too good. She again shaped well when second at York last time, just bumping into one that's potentially very smart but pulling clear of the remainder of the field. She is still unexposed, and given this longer trip could eke out further progress, she is expected to be bang there.

20:10 - IMAGE OF THE MOON (6) looked as though she was gradually working her way back to form when fourth at Newbury last month, and she confirmed that impression when beaten less than a length at Newmarket recently, finding only a less-exposed rival too good. She looks in top form at present and a repeat of her most recent effort should see her difficult to beat.
