Timeform take you through the card at Ripon on Sunday...

12:55 - PARTY SPIRIT (7) was a beaten odds-on favourite on the all-weather at Lingfield last time, failing to match the form of her two previous efforts. However, it's possible she may have found that race coming too soon and, with her earlier form the best on offer, she is worth another chance back on turf.

13:30 - CINDY LOOPER (7) had run poorly at Thirsk and Wolverhampton but she bounced right back to her best at Redcar last time, finishing runner-up and showing improved form in the process. She seemed to be well suited by the switch to forcing tactics, briefly going clear and only headed inside the final 100 yards, and the drop to six furlongs could help her take another step forward.

14:05 - HORTZADAR (2) wasn't seen to best effect having been held up in a steadily run race at Thirsk last time, but he shaped as if still in good form, making late headway to finish third. He is on the same mark as when winning this contest last year and, with this undulating track clearly holding no fears, he has a big chance from what is a decent mark.

14:40 - RED FASCINATOR (4) offered something to work on when finishing third on debut at Haydock and she took a big step forward to get off the mark over course and distance last time, travelling well and readily drawing clear inside the final 100 yards. She will go on improving and can score here.

15:15 - MOTAGALLY (4) was an impressive winner at Bath last time, taking the eye with how strongly he travelled before readily quickening clear and putting the race to bed. The form of that race has been given a big boost by runner-up Chil Chil subsequently going on to cosily land an Ascot handicap, and Motagally looks well treated off an 8 lb higher mark. Charlie Hills has a fantastic record with his sprinters and Motagally may be the latest high-profile one to emerge.

15:50 - MONDAIN (1) has struggled for consistency this season but he was an impressive winner at Newcastle in June and bounced back from a disappointing effort when runner-up at Ascot last time, pulling well clear of the third. That was a career-best effort and he still looks fairly treated off a 4 lb higher mark, particularly with a good-value 7 lb claimer in the saddle.

16:25 - MAGNA MORALIA (4) did well to win at Hamilton last time having conceded first run after being short of room at a crucial stage. Magna Moralia couldn't get a clear run a couple of furlongs out and was forced to switch over a furlong out, but he found plenty to lead near the line. That was the performance of a horse well ahead of his mark and a 2 lb rise in the weights should not be enough to stop him following up.

16:55 - BAARRIJ (2) was a beaten favourite at Newmarket last time and there were seemingly no excuses for that underwhelming performance on her handicap debut, seemingly lacking a change of gear despite stepping up in trip. It's still early days in her career, though, and she had created a good impression when winning at Windsor, so may be capable of bouncing back in this slightly lesser company.
