Timeform take you through the card at Doncaster on Saturday...
"...there should be even more to come..."
Timeform on Chindit
13:05 - MATTHEW FLINDERS (8) has a progressive profile and there's every chance the best is still yet to come from Ed Walker's three-year-old, so he makes plenty of appeal. Aweedram arrives in top form and ought to be in the shake up again on first start for his new yard, while Magical Morning retains potential now returning to a mile.
13:50 - CHINDIT (3) has looked well above-average in winning both his starts to date and can improve again to give his yard successive wins in this event. The form of his win in listed company last time is working out really well, and there should be even more to come. Emphatic debut scorer Albasheer is the clear danger, though Mujbar is hard to rule out after routing a reasonable novice field at Newmarket on his latest appearance.
14:25 - A cracking renewal of the Portland Handicap and preference is for A MOMENTOFMADNESS (13) who won this race in 2018 and found only the subsequent July Cup winner Oxted too good 12 months ago. He has come down in the weights since and will take the beating if building on his encouraging third at Goodwood last time, so he has very good claims. Meraas, Soldier's Minute and Justanotherbottle are also well worth considering.
15:00 - Things panned out perfectly for LIMATO (1) when he landed the Criterion Stakes for the second year running on June's reappearance, but that performance does confirm he's still capable of very smart form despite his advancing years. A winner of this back in 2015, he looks the way to go, for all Wichita is a very dangerous opponent on his early-summer form. One Master also demands consideration.
15:35 - An interesting renewal of the final classic of the season and the highly-progressive HUKUM (5) gets the vote. He looked a bona-fide Group 1 performer in the Geoffrey Freer at Newbury and this test should suit him well. Pyledriver defied a penalty in great style in the Great Voltigeur at York and is a big danger, while Irish Derby winner Santiago holds solid claims for a yard that has won this six times.
16:05 - LONE EAGLE (3) was no more than workmanlike at Goodwood a fortnight ago, but he remains a good prospect, and this 500,000 guineas Galileo colt ought to prove very competitive from his opening mark. Legend of Dubai is also well bred and he should be a factor, while the step up to a mile seems sure to suit Patient Dream.
17:15 - AL MUFFRIH (2) looked ahead of his mark at Ripon last time and, having been given time to get over those exertions, he can reverse the form with Spanish Archer to land this tightly-knit handicap. The remaining trio all have a chance, though Mankayan looks the pick of them.
