"A repeat of that effort should suffice..."
Timeform on Gear Jockey
Gran Casique has been second over today's C&D on his last two starts, beaten only narrowly on the latest occasion. He can go one better this time, with Imperial Ivor likely to emerge as one of the main dangers, while Free Flayme also commands consideration.
Gear Jockey broke his maiden at Gulfstream on his penultimate start and then ran really well to finish third pitched into a Grade 3 last time. A repeat of that effort should suffice now he's back in allowance company. Falkirk comes from a barn that is always worth a second look n this type of contest and he can fill the runner-up slot.
The Stifler has run well to get a slice of the pie on both his last two outings, most recently when a good second over this C&D in February. His rider has few peers round here and he should give it a good go. Mystic Link makes appeal on stable debut and could well be best of the rest. Dox Folly is likely to be on the premises too.
