Sunday Horse Racing ACCA Tips: Back Andy Robson's 7/1 multi at Hamilton and Plumpton

Andy Robson has a Sunday Racing Multiple to consider

Andy Robson has consulted his horse racing expert to find a four-fold Sunday ACCA, with the bet combining for a [7/1] Betfair Sportsbook Multiple...

Leg #1 - Plumpton, 14:38: Raulin W/O the favourite @ 4/61.67

I know that Raulin is making his jumps debut, so there is an element of risk attached, but it looks a desperately weak contest. The Dan Skelton-trained Premier Tenor is likely to be favourite after a pair of fair hurdle starts, but he hasn't impressed me. Raulin is a four-time flat winner, who reached an official mark of 84. He stays at least 1m4f, so ought to be perfectly suited to this test over hurdles, and he brings solid ability to the race. I expect a bold showing.

Leg #2 - Hamilton, 15:30: Jannas Journey to Finish Top 3 @ 8/151.53

Jannas Journey sneaks into this 0-100 handicap over 6f, with strong aspirations for trainer Jim Goldie. The eight-time winner has won from a 2lb lower mark, so isn't badly weighted, and she is running into good form. The Sioux Nation mare kept on nicely under this rider, when a fine third over course and distance, in a contest where it paid to race prominently. This looks a winnable opportunity, and I hold solid each-way claims for the selection.

Leg #3 - Hamilton, 16:30: Draupnir to Finish Top 3 @ 11/82.38

If the ground is running on the slow side of good, I would expect top-weight, Draupnir, to be among the place chances for Michael and David Easterby. He has only won once from 14 career outings, but that came on a soft surface, and he has placed in a stronger course handicap previously. A recent runner-up spot at Ripon was a promising run, and I believe this race should suit well.

Leg #4 - Plumpton, 16:38: Farhh Echo to Finish Top 3 @ 1/31.33

In a handicap hurdle with numerous out-of-form runners, I'm more than happy to side with last-time-out winner, Farhh Echo. The five-year-old has improved dramatically since being eased in distance this season, landing back-to-back handicap hurdle starts in easy fashion. He won with plenty to spare at Newton Abbot on Friday, and would be expected to go close if turned out again quickly.
