Golf stats expert Andy Swales provides the form figures and Betfair golf experts recommend the picks as the DP World Tour moves to the Hero Indian Open 2026...

  • Course and form stats for this week's event in India

  • Bhatia and Puig set to start as joint-favourites

  • Dutchman with two third-place finishes looks a big price

Current Form Picks

Akshay Bhatia @ 10/111.00

Bhatia is the joint-favourite, with David Puig, to win this week's event in India and, with a credible 13th at the Players Championship to following his win at the Arnold Palmer, that makes a lot of sense. He has two other top1-10 finishes to his name so has made a strong start to 2026.

David Puig 10/111.00

The aforementioned Spaniard has been making his mark on the LIV Tour with top 10 finishes in two of his last three outings. He was tied for third on the leaderboard at the Dubai Invitational on this tour a couple of months ago.

Casey Jarvis 16/117.00

Jarvis' consistency in recent weeks speak for itself with wins in Kenya and his native South Africa followed by a runner-up spot at the Joburg Open. He was 31st here last year but, in such fine form, will fancy his chances of improving on that.

Course Form Picks

Eugenio Chacarra @ 35/136.00

Last year's winner has three missed cuts in his last five outings but will want to give a decent showing when he arrives in India to defend the title he won 12 months ago.

Joost Luiten @ 50/151.00

The price could be a gift for anyone who wants to back a man who's finished third, 11th and third in his last three visits to this course. He's yet to hit those heights this season - his best was 20th at the Dubai Invitiational - but the Dutchman clearly has an affinity with this week's venue.

Matthew Jordan 50/151.00

The Englishman has been knocking on the door of the top 10, after finishing 12 and 13 the last two years respectively, and that is the kind of consistency a player can build on at a venue. He's done ok so far in 2026 too, with a seventh at the Kenya Open his best showing.
