The Punter's Preview: In-form Clark impossible to ignore at 23/124.00
Steve Rawlings: Wyndham Clark hit a low of even money on the Betfair Exchange on Sunday to win last week's Memorial Tournament, just two weeks after signing off the Byron Nelson CJ Cup with an 11-under-par 60 to win by three. The 32-year-old has found form at just the right time with the US Open (the major he won in 2023) just a week away and it's largely down to a red-hot putter.
Clark ranked first for Putting Average in Texas and third last week, when missing out on the playoff by a stroke, and this week's assignment looks far more suitable than last week's at Muirfield Village.
The four-time PGA Tour winner loves a low-scoring birdie-fest and when he claimed the spoils in Texas, he was shooting 60 to win for the second time. Clark won the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in 2024 after a 60 in round three around Pebble Beach saw him shoot to the top of the leaderboard.
The weather reduced that event to 54 holes, so Clark was handed the title without hitting another shot, but he's shown on numerous occasions that he's a very reliable performer in-contention...

Each-way Picks: Back Lowry at 30/131.00
Dave Tindall: Shane Lowry's attempt to end a winless streak on the PGA Tour was one of the big storylines earlier this year... And in his last three starts the Irishman has managed a 23rd in the Cadillac Championship (closing 65) and a 22nd in last week's Memorial (ninth at halfway).
In the latter he ranked 8th for SG: Approach to show that his irons are sharpening up again and I'm happy to pull the trigger at 30s (he'd be far closer to the front of the betting with some slightly better form).
Perhaps just a change of scene will get Lowry over the line and he's certainly relished his trips to Canada. The Ryder Cup star was runner-up in 2019 and has three other top 15s in his other previous five starts in the event, including 13th at this course last year when shooting 65-68-68-67.
Lowry has played the last four editions so clearly wants this as part of his schedule. And just to frank the feeling the planets could be aligning for Lowry, we're getting some rather European summer weather on the weekend with temperatures in the low 70s and the chance of rain.

Find Me a 100 Winner: Kirk is a big price at 289/1290.00
Steve Rawlings: Chris Kirk's six Tour wins span 13 years, between 2011 and 2024, and his first and last victories, in the Sanderson Farms Championship and The Sentry, demonstrate his liking for a low-scoring event like this.
He won the SFC with a 22-under-par total and he got to as low as 29-under when winning The Sentry two years ago. And he also lost a playoff at the Rocket Classic last year after 266 - 22-under-par total.
That extra time defeat almost a year ago shows he can still compete at this level and so does his third round 65 at Aronimink at last month's US PGA Championship, that was bettered by nobody in the field that day.
He slipped from 11th to 44th with a 74 on Sunday at Aronimink. But he'll arrive in Canada in good spirits having qualified for the US Open on Monday when he posted 65-64 around Hawks Ridge Golf Club to win the qualifier in his home state of Georgia by two strokes with a 15-under-par total.

First Round Leader Tips: Shout out to Yella at 66/167.00
Dave Tindall: Sudarshan Yellamaraju will be feeling at home this week and not just because he's one of the Canadian contingent.
TPC Toronto is his local course so hopefully it's the place where he can spring back to life after a dip.
Earlier in the season, Yellamaraju had a golden run when finishing fifth at The Players Championship and sixth in the Houston Open in back-to-back starts.
The boost that gave to his FedEx Cup ranking meant he didn't have to get involved in US Open qualifying earlier this week as his ticket to Shinnecock was already punched.
In truth, his form isn't that bad. Yellamaraju was 19th at last month's Truist, shot a Friday 68 when missing the cut at Colonial and dug in for 40th at Memorial.
On familiar turf, let's hope he can get out of the blocks quickly from his early 07:55 tee time.

RBC Canadian Open 2026: Form stats
Course Form Pick: The defending champion is a generous price as he returns to the scene of his 2025 triumph. He's made the cut at five consecutive events, with the standout in that run his tied 16th at the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town.
