Last week's 130.0129/1 pick in Mexico, Sami Valimaki, was matched at a single-figure price as early as Thursday after a fast start and he hit a low of 5.85/1 during round four but with pre-event 16/117.00 chance, Ben Griffin, firing a sensational 63 in round four, Valimaki's eight-under-par 64 on Sunday wasn't quite enough and he ended the week tied for second, beaten by two.
On to this week and I've put all my eggs in the Bermuda basket.
As highlighted in the preview, the DP World Tour Championship tends to go to one of the fancied runners, whereas the Bermuda Championship has been a great event for long-shots.
Only two of the 16 winners in Dubai have gone off at a triple-figure price but it's a completely different story at the Bermuda Championship where four of the six winners have gone off priced in-between 150.0149/1 and 600.0599/1.
It makes sense to concentrate solely on the PGA Tour's penultimate FedEx Fall Series event, especially given we snagged the winner two years ago at 160.0159/1, and I've picked out three...
Bermuda Championship bet #1 - Brandt Snedeker @ 150.0149/1
As highlighted in the preview, experienced types do well here.
The course is short so length off the tee is irrelevant and year after year the field encounter blustery conditions that the more experienced pros tend to cope with better.
The 2023 winner, Camilo Villegas, who's now 43, looks a huge price again and Kevin Streelman and England's David Skinns were two others in their 40s that I came close to including but after much deliberation, my eldest pick this week is 44-year-old, Brandt Snedeker.
The former world number four is now languishing down in 277th place in the Official Rankings but he's shown us several times this year that the nine-time PGA Tour winner might yet claim a 10th title.
He finished 10th in the Puerto Rico Open in March, seventh in the ultra-competitive Memorial Tournament back in June, and he was ninth in the Bank of Utah Championship just three weeks ago.
He missed the cut here on debut 12 months ago but it's no surprise to see him return as it's a course that should suit him nicely.
Snedeker won the Farmers Insurance Open in very windy conditions back in 2016 and he won the Fiji Invitational by 10 strokes eight years ago at another track constantly barraged by wind.
Putting remains his greatest asset, and he has form at several courses that correlate nicely with Port Royal.

Bermuda Championship bet #2 - Ben Martin @ 280.0279/1
Sitting at 180 in the FedEx Cup standings, 38-year-old, Ben Martin, needs a very good week either this week or next if he's going to keep his playing privileges on the PGA Tour and I'm happy to try him here.
The 2014 Shriners Open winner has shown up several times on courses that correlate well with this one and he's shown glimpses here before too.
His course form figures read MC-51-49-27 and he's opened up with rounds of 64 and 65 on his last two visits, in 2022 and 2023.
We haven't seen Martin contend strongly since he led both the Corales Puntacana Championship and the RSM Classic with 18 to play three years ago but last year's winner, Rafael Campos, had missed his four previous cuts and current form isn't a necessary pre-requisite.

Bermuda Championship bet #3 - Rafael Campos @ 500.0499/1
There are some huge prices available on a number of lively long-shots and others not already mentioned that were on my radar include Luke List, Tyler Duncan, Jonathan Byrd and Austin Cook but I'm going to sign off the column with a very obvious outsider - last year's winner, Campos.
The 37-year-old has been in woeful form this year, but I was happy to chance at 500.0499/1 given he tends to contend at the same events and as already stated, current form has often been an irrelevance.
In addition to this event, Campos won the Bahamas Great Abaco Classic on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2019 before contending again there strongly in 2023.
He has a pair of top three finishes at the Corales Puntacana Championship, and he's contended strongly in four of his last seven appearances at the Puerto Rico Open, so he looks overlooked here at such a big price.
