David Lloyd : India and Pakistan leave T20 World Cup up sh*t creek
David Lloyd: Where are we with the T20 World Cup? We're up sh*t's creek, that's where we are.
Mark Butcher: The issue comes from dispensations made from the ICC, whether it be in favour of India or against India and Pakistan. Historically, India and Pakistan don't play each other on a bi-lateral basis anymore and that's political more than anything else.
However, in ICC tournaments, they're always placed in the same group. Why? Because it's the most lucrative fixture in the world of cricket and some say in the world of sport. So, the ICC have to make sure that India and Pakistan are in the same group, and they are every single time. It's not a coincidence.
Now Pakistan is in a situation whereby they're the younger brother or cousin of India and basically, Pakistan have to suck it up. So, when they had the Champions Trophy in Pakistan you could see it coming a mile off that India weren't going to play there.
When this stuff happens, it affects every team in the tournament because the program has to change and they have to fly out and meet India in the place that they want to play.
Michael Vaughan: ECB needs advisory panel of ex-players
You look at the ECB now, how it's run. You have a board of directors, a lot of business people that are making decisions within our game. Ebony Rainford-Brent is the cricket expert on that board.
If I was in charge of the ECB, I'd have a panel of ex-players as an advisory board, whoever those people may be. Men and women who meet every now and again to decide upon what could happen within our game.
Remember the old MCC cricket committee - they had no power, but the advisory board for the ECB should be ex-players who are passionate about the game, clever on the game and they deliver.
Mark Butcher: Sibley or Hameed could make surprise Test comebacks
Somebody like Dom Sibley or Haseeb Hameed could make a surprise comeback this year to the Test side. There's a place, with all of the stroke-makers that England have, there's definitely space for players who balance that out by being stickable. They're both better players than when they played last.
Thomas Rew is the one who's making all of the headlines at the moment for his show with the under-19s. His brother is already on the radar - but the word is that Thomas is even better than him.
At the moment, England have got a lot of players in and around that group who are pretty good, so it's going to be a difficult one for new players to break into the side.
