Joburg Super Kings v MI Cape Town team news

Super Kings could be without Gerald Coetzee who has suffered pelvic inflammation. Essex's Sam Cook could come in to join fellow overseas Moeen Ali.

Possible XI: Du Plessis, Hendricks, Moeen, Du Plooy, Ferreira, Wiese/Galiem, Shepherd, Phangiso, Cook, Burger, Williams

Cape Town could axe all-rounder Thomas Kaber after he was trusted with one over in defeat by Durban. Cape Town posted 207 but were beaten by 11 runs in a rain-affected game. George Linde should come in if fit.

Possible XI: Van der Dussen, Rickleton, Brevis, Esterhuizen, Livingstone, Pollard, S Curran, Linde, Rabada, B Hendricks, Stone

Joburg Super Kings v MI Cape Town pitch report

The last two T20i have produced first-innings scores of 200 or more. Last term in this comp 160 was busted four times in six. A par line in the mid 170s is an overs play. There must be 20-overs available for bets to stand. Rain is forecast.

Joburg Super Kings v MI Cape Town best bets

The match odds market can't split this pair. We can. Super Kings were second last term, Cape Town were bottom. And their performance in Durban in their opener suggests it's another difficult campaign. A straightforward 1.9720/21 bet on the hosts.

On the player markets we're staying with Leus Du Plooy who had an even-money record on top bats for Joburg last season. He is 5/16.00.

Sunrisers Eastern Cape v Durban Super Giants team news

Sunrisers' opening game - and that of the the tournament - was washed out. But we expect Dawid Malan to come straight in and open.

Possible XI: Rossington, Malan, Hermann, Markram, Stubbs, Abell, Jansen, Dawson, Carse, Magala, Baartman

Durban's Heinrich Klaasen reinforced his rep as the best white-ball batter in the world with 85 from 35 to down Cape Town on Thursday. They should be unchanged.

Probable XI: De Kock, Breetzke, Mulder, Klaasen, Pooran, Paul, D Pretorius, Subrayen, Meharaj, Topley, Gleeson

Sunrisers Eastern Cape v Durban Super Giants pitch report

There were two scores of 160 or more in five matches last season at St George's Park. Three were won by the chaser. No rain is forecast. Durban conceded more than 200 against Cape Town. That form's holding up as they were priciest with the ball last term. This could be a cheap overs play ion the par line.

Sunrisers Eastern Cape v Durban Super Giants best bets

Sunrisers are rated outsiders at 2.0621/20 on an early show. That could settle at around the 2.1011/10 mark.

Sure, Durban's batting power is impressive but Sunrisers are the holders and are far cannier than Cape Town. In the corresponding fixture last season Sunrisers made 210 and then bowled out Durban for 86.

It's way too early to suggest that Durban, who didn't make the play-offs, should be odds-on in games.

Aiden Markram and Adam Rossington are both value for top Sunrisers bat at 3/14.00 and 10/34.33 with win rates at 27% and 30% last term. Rossington is the follow because he has the greater edge in our favour and whacked 72 from 35 against Durban last time. Markram is still a bet at 11/26.50 for top bowler, also winning 27% at 11/26.50.
