England v New Zealand Second ODI team news
England were given a good old-fashioned beating by New Zealand on Friday in Cardiff. Only once in the last five years have they suffered a bigger margin of defeat batting first than eight wickets.
It should be easily remedied, though: pick your best team. Moeen Ali, Sam Curran and Mark Wood should all come back in.
Jonny Bairstow and Jason Roy may also be available after a back spasm, although Dawid Malan's form is likely to keep at least one of them out. Harry Brook, David Willey, Gus Atkinson and Reece Topley make way.
Probable XI: Bairstow, Malan, Root, Stokes, Buttler, Livingstone, Moeen, S Curran, Woakes, Rashid, Wood
New Zealand should be buzzing after game one. Given the spinning nature of the track and the heat, they may consider it a perfect warm-up for India. it should also be noted that when Kane Williamson comes back in, they boast four in their top six who are excellent players of tweak.
Rachin Ravindra may hold onto his place after three wickets. Kyle Jamieson may not be so fortunate after a pricey show so Trent Boult should come back. Lockie Ferguson is under pressure from Adam Milne.

The scores in the one-day cup this season at the Ageas Bowl read: 306-296-236-309. Bust 300 to win is the toss wisdom. In internationals, Ireland chased 328 to beat England three years ago. The World Cup was sluggish for batters but in one-off games it has been largely road-like.
More than 300 should be a minimum and we'll look to bet either side to do so. England at around 1.9010/11 and New Zealand perhaps at even money. A bet which has equal appeal is the 7/52.40 that both team score 275. Outside of that World Cup when we can perhaps blame tired surfaces, it was a winner in four of the last nine. England are skinny at 1.608/13 with New Zealand 2.6213/8. On the evidence of game one the Kiwis once again represent the value.
And if they bat first they really should be capable of scoring well and getting close to flipping the odds. At the least we'd expect a choice affair at the break. That's a trade chance right there.
But team news is key. If England select the side above they should be far more competitive. We wouldn't rule them out going close in a sizeable chase. At decent numbers they could well get after that 320-330 region. A game with plenty of flips and flops is the prediction.

Devon Conway and Daryll Mitchell are 21/103.10 and 11/43.75 respectively for top Kiwi bat after they both hit centuries in Cardiff. But it's opener Will Young who looks like win-rate value. He's won at around 29% of the time in the last two years and is as big as 9/25.50.
Another chunky price is Glenn Phillips at 7/18.00. He's a 4/15.00 chance on two-year data. For England, Bairstow looks toppy at 7/24.50. It's not quite a win-rate bet though.
