Ed Hawkins is expecting big runs at Headingley on Tuesday night and says the side batting first should trade short at the break

Brook and Rashid out

Superchargers are expected to be without Harry Brook who is on England Lions duty. That could bring John Simpson back into the fold. The batting looks worryingly light without Brook it has to be said.

Possible XI: Lyth, Du Plessis, Pepper, Willey, Wiese, Hose, Simpson, Bravo, van der Merwe, Potts, Rashid

Rockets are also hamstrung by call-ups as the player drain begins to bite into the tournament. There is no Rashid Khan. Rockets won't have Joe Root for much longer either. Tabraiz Shamsi is Rashid's replacement while he plays for Afghanistan against Ireland.

Possible XI: Hales, Malan, Munro, Root, Kohler-Cadmore, Gregory, Patel, Sams, L Wood, Carter, Shamsi

Pitch report

Headingley has been a road for some time. It has been perfect for batters in T20 and has the best run rate of all the tournament venues in that format. The runs par line is set to go over at 159.5 and that looks like a solid buy. As you would expect in a heatwave, the forecast is good. Bet the runs line here.

How to play

Superchargers are 2.206/5 with Rockets 1.804/5. That's surprisingly short about the visitors. Sure, both teams have a win to their name but Superchargers looked very strong in a tricky chase against Originals. The toss is key and whoever bat first takes a cut by the break with big runs on the board.

Superchargers can flip the odds - and some - if they bat first. Bet the match odds here.

Tops value

With Brook gone David Willey could get the chance to bat at number three so Sportsbook's 7/1 is a standout. We also note David Wiese at 18s. Colin Munro may be overpriced at 4/1 for top Rockets bat. Alex Hales is boosted to 10/3 for back-to-back wins while Faf Du Plessis is also upped to 3/1. Bet the Sportsbook markets here.
